Dr Caty Oaie
​​Dr Caty is a dedicated Clinical Psychologist, providing compassionate, evidence-based care to clients across the lifespan, who face complex emotional challenges, including complex PTSD, interpersonal difficulties, attachment issues and OCD. She also works with anxiety, low mood and life transition challenges.
​
Dr Caty uses a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Systemic Family Therapy flexibly to meet individual needs. She uses an integrative trauma-informed approach rooted in empathy and collaboration, striving to create a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their inner worlds, build resilience, foster meaningful connections, and reclaim their life.

​Dr Caty has worked in a range of NHS specialist Trauma and Complex Emotional Needs Services for over 10 years where she has delivered interventions such as treatment for PTSD, Complex PTSD and various adaptations for trauma-related presentations. Through her work, she has supported many individuals through life transitions, low mood and relationship challenges.

Dr. Caty is committed to providing affirming support to individuals who have experienced discrimination, including those in the LGBTQ+ community, individuals who have faced racial injustice, and those impacted by gender-based or other forms of prejudice.

​Dr Caty is a highly qualified clinical psychologist accredited by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC, PYL041400). With a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) and EMDR training, she brings extensive expertise to her practice. Her educational background also includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Masters in Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience.
